ADI offer extensive Outside Broadcast facilities, catering to the country’s biggest broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.

Our advanced OB units have been used for major broadcasts and television events, including ITV’s recent Avenue Of The Stars 50th Anniversary production – the broadcaster’s biggest television event of the year.

We are constantly upgrading our OB units to feature the latest in technology, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the market.

Aside from our OB units, we have built up a reputation for the quality of the personnel we employ and the renowned ADI attitude; making sure all the stops are pulled out to ensure the success of your production.

ADI OB facilities are available for either wet or dry hire (with Guarantee Engineer).

Our flagship OB Unit, Digital12, offers 12 cameras of coverage and a host of high-end features – such as a Sony DVS-7350 Vision Switcher and EVS 6 channel disk recorders – making it the preferred choice of a growing number of major television producers.

An articulated OB unit, it has recently been lengthened to 45ft, with the bulk of the extra length going into the Production Area, which now seats 9 people in total comfort over 3 rows of desks, allowing for the incorporation of Aston graphics into the Production Area. An enlarged 34-monitor stack and Sony DVS-7350 Vision Switcher complement these changes.

Digital6 offers an advanced and impressive array of features in a surprisingly small footprint!

Based around a long-wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter, Digital6 can handle 6 cameras of coverage and is perfectly suited for smaller television broadcasts (and recently saw action for ITV during the National Comedy Awards).

As well as OB units, we also offer PPUs (Portable Production Units), which are portable studios for when a truck is not suitable. These are built to specification and can be supplied with or without crew – please call or email with your individual requirements for further details.
